Is the New 2019 BMW 8 Series as Cool as the Original From the 1990s? | Edmunds

Edmunds Senior Reviews Editor Mark Takahashi was very fond of the 8 Series coupe from the 1990s. He set off to find out if this new 2019 BMW 8 Series lives up to his expectations by touring through Portugal and turning some laps at the Estoril race circuit. Also on his mind is how the 8 Series stacks up to its main rivals.

A: Prices will start around $113,000.

A: BMW estimates it'll reach 62 mph in 3.7 seconds on its way to a 155-mph top speed.
